So, placing babies on there tummy is one method that works. Along with making sure that you effectively burp the babies after feedings. By keeping the baby elevated above the stomach during feedings this can also ensure that the baby is relieved of gas.

Gas Relief for Infants
Infants of all ages have experienced some form of gas. My issue was how to relieve this symptom. Other than rubbing you babies tummy. Or even using the Little Remedies product. The main cause of gas in babies is the swallowed air during bottle feedings. And it can also occur due to issues with the digestion of food.
Hello Everyone!!! I am Back....
It has been a tough couple of weeks. I had to deal with the tragic loss of my mother who recently passed on Saint Patrick's Day... This is very difficult for me because I have only recently had my son. And so she did not spend much time. Loss of anyone in the family is difficult whether it is a relative, friend, family, parent, spouse or even a child it is very difficult to cope. And so along with all other topics we will cover. Coping with the loss of a loved one will be one in which we will discuss in sessions during the next couple of months.
Love you mom...

Lamaze
In my eyes I feel that his is a class that every pregnant mom should take. Even you have plans of a C-Section birth. It is still vital to learn proper breathing techniques for both birthing styles.
Understanding the proper breathing techniques even before childbirth teaches you methods of staying calm and relaxing.
The following article based on the picture above by Fit Pregnancy gives you the breakdown of the importance of lamaze.

Discharge!!! Discharge!!! Whats The Story?
Well the truth about the matter it happens to most. And of course it has happened to me. I could let you know a little bit of good news. It seems as though discharge stops Early in your 2 Trimester.
And I know it is easy for me to say don't be alarmed. Because you should be concerned about any changes in your body during your pregnancy.
The article I am placing the link to by Fit Pregnancy discusses more common Discharge Types and Symptoms.
Be aware that both UTI and BV are very common infections and are mainly due to changes in our Hormones.
Especially when you are over 35 years of age.
My advice in this case is to get a screening because both infections are not really considered Sexually related.
And to also consider a daily intake of yogurt and of course drinking plenty of water.
So, what is considered common discharge during your first trimester.
Well you may see some brown discharge in the beginning. Which is basically your bodies way of cleansing it self from your past cycle.
There is also light and dark red discharge during the first trimester as well. Often times this can be related to your uterus growth, fibroids or even infections.
Now, if you plan of having sexual intercourse, plan on having some form of bleeding or discharge.
It is also common to have a little pain, such as light cramps during this process.
If in fact you have continuous bleeding, heavy and consisting of tissue loss. Please go to your nearest ER to be checked.
One thing I can let you know about the ER visit is that once admitted the only form of treatment you may receive is a Pelvic Exam, Ultra Sound, Blood and Urine Test.
So, in my eyes your Physician the main point of contact. In regards to the severity of the discharge, so it is in fact important to let your know of any major changes.
Last, but definitely not least your first 11 weeks of pregnancy is the most vital time in regards to the chance of miscarriage.
So, Please take it easy and if there are any other concerns. Please feel free to contact me.....
